Victor Cruz talks about emotional visit to Newtown Dec 20th 2012, 14:00 One of the children killed last week at Sandy Hook elementary was 6-year-old Jack Pinto—a diehard Victor Cruz and New York Giants fan. Cruz heard Pinto’s story through Twitter and paid the family a visit this week. He spoke about the emotional meeting and how, albeit briefly, he was able to take their minds off the tragedy. “It was good to just get there and spend some time with the family…it was good to be with them.” Jack Pinto was laid to rest in Cruz’s jersey.
