'Pacific Rim' trailer smashes through Dec 14th 2012, 00:00 Godzilla doesn’t stand a chance against these guys. One of the most anticipated nerdout movies of 2013 is Pacific Rim, the new Guillermo del Toro flick about giant reptilian monsters rising from the depths of the ocean to smash the crap out of Humanity until we invent huge robots to fight the crap out of them. When the monsters start winning, two heroes must pilot an obsolete robot on one final mission to survive. Sure, it’s not what we’d call “high concept,” but this first trailer tells me that we’re in for some incredibly fun times with this one.
