Flickr/Images of Money Hayes went to a Columbus, Ohio area casino with dreams of making a big score. Five hours of blackjack later, Hayes ended up with $35,800 in winnings. The 29-year-old jewelry maker cashed out to the tune of 358 $100 bills. Hayes told the Columbus Dispatch that he thought he took every possible precaution, driving home as carefully as possible before leaving the money on his nightstand to deposit in a bank the following morning. Small problem: Three men, one of whom saw Hayes win the money at Hollywood Casino Columbus, broke into his home and robbed him at gunpoint of the winnings. Two of the men have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery while the third man remains on the loose. "I look at it as, I lost $1,000, which is what I played with," Hayes told the Dispatch. "I kept my life.” The important thing is that Hayes went back to the casino several time after this incident last October.
