Tom Cruise is the last man on Earth. Welp, sorry, humanity, you had a good run. I have to admit some interest in Oblivion, the upcoming sci-fi film directed by Tron: Legacy‘s Joseph Kosinski. After a horrific war, the entire Earth is evacuated to greener planets and only a few unlucky bastards have to stay behind to harvest minerals or whatever. But when a mysterious woman crashes in a spaceship, Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) finds out there’s some stuff about ol’ Earth he doesn’t know. Wait a minute – Tom Cruise’s last two movie roles were Jack Harper and Jack Reacher. What’s next? Jack Puncher? Anyways, Oblivion opens on April 12th.
