Burger King selling Whoppers for 55 cents Dec 4th 2012, 18:00 BurgerKing It’s not as good as Japan’s all-you-can-eat BK buffet, but Burger King is offering original whoppers for 55 cents for a limited time. In honor of the 55th Anniversary of the iconic WHOPPER® Sandwich, The HOME OF THE WHOPPER® is offering a mouthwatering deal! Hurry in to any participating BURGER KING® restaurant nationwide from December 6th through December 9th, to enjoy an Original WHOPPER® Sandwich for just 55 cents, when you purchase any WHOPPER® Sandwich, including the new Wisconsin White Cheddar WHOPPER® or the spicy ANGRY WHOPPER®, available for a limited-time-only. If you can manage to read between all the capitalized words and copyrights, it basically says they are selling burgers slightly above BOGO. Buy one – get one for 55 cents this coming weekend. Only the original is eligible for the budget price, but you can’t go wrong with a classic. It’s better than everything but Le Big Mac at WacArnolds, so I’ll gladly pay you a dollar today for a burger tomorrow. If you haven’t had the Angry Whopper, you’re missing out. As far as fast food burgers go, it’s one of the best. It has legit hardwood smoked bacon, Habanero cheese, jalapenos, spicy onion petals, and “angry sauce.” I don’t know exactly what angry sauce is, or why it’s mad, but it’s awesome.
