There’s certainly a lot of bad blood around Jack Reacher, the latest Tom Cruise action vehicle. Fans of the book series by author Lee Child are up in arms that their hero (who, in the books, is a silent, brooding Daniel Craig type who gets his clothes from thrift stores) has been Hollywood-prettified to be… well, Tom Cruise. However, the newly-released Japanese trailer for the flick should set some minds at ease, as it definitely ramps up the badass a little bit. Jack Reacher opens on December 21st.
