'Star Trek: Into Darkness' teaser trailer brings the ruckus Dec 6th 2012, 18:40 Okay, yeah, this looks cool. Officially nerding out. The first teaser footage from Star Trek: Into Darkness just hit the tubes, and I gotta say it does more for me than the poster did. Narrated by the film’s villain (played by Benedict Cumberbatch of Sherlock fame), it gets right to the point: Earth is not safe and he’s coming to tear things up. Normally you’d think an entire Federation of spaceships and whatnot wouldn’t have much to fear from one man, but by the way he’s swinging a giant railgun around it’s safe to assume that whoever he is, he’s got powers.
