Let's remember the good times of 'Die Hard' Feb 6th 2013, 14:00 John McClane’s been doing this for twenty-five years. Dude deserves a break. It’s kind of amazing that the Die Hard franchise is celebrating a quarter of a century with this year’s release of A Good Day To Die Hard. Bruce Willis has always been a pretty unlikely action star – not a steroidal behemoth like Schwarzenegger and Stallone or a lithe martial arts master like Jet Li, instead he’s a dogged Everyman who’s willing to swallow a little crap to get the job done. 20th Century Fox has put together a pretty cool little featurette about the series.
