Not only is it a time for celebration of…whatever Mardi Gras celebrates…but it’s a time for smart drunken decisions. Exhibit A: This kid who threw beer at a cop along with some punches and then got swift comeuppance. The good news is that I’m sure the young man throwing the punches was treated extremely respectfully after they got him into a police car. They probably replaced his spilled beer and gave him some beads for his troubles. Mardi Gras is a time for healing.
