The next challenger to the throne is The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones, based on Cassandra Clare’s six-volume series. In the story, a young teenager discovers that she’s a half-angel warrior placed on Earth to beat the crap out of demons, vampires, werewolves – basically just Buffy The Vampire Slayer, then? The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones opens in theaters on August 23rd.
